There are so many Tourist destination in Indonesia, but there  also lot of them aren't familiar yet. but, it doesn't mean that these places isn't worthy to visit. we can say that those places are our country "Hidden Paradise". now we want to tell you some places that rarely known but could be a reference for your next trip

1. Kaco Lake : Shining in the moonlight 




"Kaco" means mirror since it has clean blue color that can reflect any light like mirror, so people who live around this lake call it mirror lake but the it contrast with the view around it which full of green and brown color. this lake is also full of Semah kerinci that swim as much as they want


About the depth of this lake, there's no one know about the depth but people who lived around it said it's insanely deep, but it's just 30 x 30 meter large. This Kaco lake looks shining even in the night, especially if the full moon appear, there's no one who can explain why this lake can shining in the night.


2. Shining Kiluan Bay 



Actually, Kiluan Bay isn't a new Tourism object for the traveller. even this place could be a target for lots Adventurer to come to. the beauty of the environment haven't touched by industry , the location is isolated from crowd and really quiet , the environment is really beautiful and fresh. That's why Kiluan Bay became a favorite place for the angler and every year in this bay there's a fishing competition that followed by best angler all over the world.



The beauty of its beach is supported by its white sand for sure, clean water and there are dolphins and big waves sometimes. there are 2 kind of dolphin in this bay which are bottle nose dolphin and spinner dolphin. the bottle nose dolphin are big and shy in common, it contradict with the spinner dolphin which is smaller but really like to jump. there are hundreds of dolphin. it's normal if there are people said that the dolphin colony in this bay is the biggest one in the word. you can see the dolphin closely by rent a boat. if you're lucky you can watch green turtle over there since the turtle comes up to the sea level


To come in to this bay which located in Lampung , Kilauan Negeri Village , you have to spent 12 hours from Jakarta or just about 3 - 4 hours from Lampung.

3. Telun Berasap Water Fall



Why do this Waterfall named "Telun Berasap"? these waterfall named Telun Berasap by the people who live around it because of its water fog that evaporate created by the water that falls from 50 meters high. What makes it so special is when the falling water reflect the sunlight , inside the fog you'll be shown colourful rainbow without waiting for the rain.


You can find this waterfall in Telun Berasap village which located in Kerinci region. the location of this waterfall's quite challenging , it's located between the crowded trees in Kerinci Sebat National Park, but it will be paid by the beautiful view and also the way in to this waterfall can cool down your eyes

To enjoy the view at its best you can do it from the high, you could climb in to the top of the waterfall and stand on rocks in there, don't worry , the water isn't too deep so you just need to watch over the stone in there. To reach this place you have to spent 10 hours trip from Jambi. 

4. Kayu Aro : The Oldest Tea Garden in Indonesia


Located in Penuh river, Kerinci region , Kayu Aro isn't like the other tea garden. not just that it's already lasted for hundred of years , this garden should be admire for its high (1600 meters) and large (2500 hectare) that's what made this garden the second best tea garden all over the world, the best is Darjelling tea garden in India.

as we said , Kayu aro is a produce of black tea or known as ortodox tea , the management process is still very conventional , without any techniques or industrial machine. So, don't be surprised if you see many tea powder here, also,  the tea doesn't contain any chemical material , without preservative and any dye.

Besides, it's strictly prohibited to use cosmetic for the workers, especially when they manage the tea to produce the best quality tea. there's no wonder the tea from here is the favorite of Dutch queen and England queen in colonialism era.

The distance between Padang in to Kayu Aro is 300 km (7 hours trip) so you can transit in Padang using planes

All Tourism object is really wonderful , this can be proved by the amount of Tourist who are willing to come far away to visit this wonderful gift by God. Those tourist come from many place not only Indonesia but also outside Indonesia. Wayag island is located in West Waigo Village, Raja Ampat region, West Papua. you can come in to this island by going through an 6 hours trip from Sorong in to Wayag Island. the amount of money you have to prepared to enjoy this place is about Rp.6.000.000,000 !! wow .... what an amount of money ... but you will never regret the money you spent because when you get here you will see the beauty of Raja Ampat.

There will be groups of little islands, these little islands is islands that is full with trees. When you come here and sail away with boats, you can see the blue sea combine with the green islands that will make you never get bored to come , over and over again.

Well , what makes it interesting is since the water is so clear that we can see the fishes beneath the sea with the coral reefs that grows really well. the environment in this island is still very beautiful and clean.

One place you have to go if you come in to this region is Coral island, here you are invited not only to see the beauty of view under the sea but you're also challenge to climb in to the top of the island with a 90 degrees slope which takes about 30 minutes to reach the top. it will drain you physics and stamina for sure.

Misool island is one of 4 biggest islands in Raja Ampat, West Papua. it border with Seram sea which become a traffic for big animals such as whales.

You can enjoy the beauty of this island without get bothered with other people because it's an abandoned island. there's no need to doubt the beauty of this island. why ? it's because it fulls of groups of coral island in the west and east side.

The beauty of this island can be feel even if you haven't swim yet , the water is really clean and has turquoise color which is really wonderful. this abandoned island has white sand in its beach which surrounded by tropical trees and mangrove

The interesting thing is , in this Misool island the sea show the blue water mangrove which is full by many kind of fish. This island started to get famous after a journalist took a picture of it  which show the beauty under the sea

3. Manta-ray Washing Station


well, what do you think when you heard the name of this place ? interesting right ? maybe you're getting curious about it. Actually it's only a name for manta rays preening activity, why people said that the manta ray was preening ? it's because they can spent a lot of time just to clean up their self, well who said only women can spent a lot of time for make up ?

The interesting thing is, they didn't clean up their body on their own , it's the little fish who did the whole clean up thing like washing a car. So, after a manta ray has been cleaned, these groups of little fish will move to clean up another manta ray. 

Imagine how interesting this rare view, when you watch this Manta ray preen , the 5 m manta ray lying above your head , waiting for its turn to be cleaned by the little fish like an army of angle fish that never tired and always do their duty

In Waigeo there are 2 beauty salon for these manta ray. But, remember you have to borrow a hook for your safety when you watch this rare view. it's because of strong flow in this area.
